This towering, bright wildflower is a wonderful choice for nearly any wildflower planting, in fields, meadows, ditches, and gardens! Goldenrod is the primary nectar source used by eastern Monarch butterflies on their southbound migration to Mexico in the fall. Also makes a great "filler" in dried flower arrangements! Goldenrod is often unfairly blamed for hay fever, while this discomfort is actually most often caused by Ragweed, which blooms at nearly the same time.
