A brilliant red to crimson version of the California Poppy. The blooms are accented by a dark center and a vivid blend of red and orange. The attractive blue-green lacy foliage is offset by a slight purple tint. Planted alone or with orange California Poppies, it is a real viewing pleasure. Easy to grow, naturalizes well and is very drought tolerant. Normally grows between 8 - 12\. Commonly known as California Poppy, these simple flowers are native to western North America and bring endless enjoyment. Sow in the spring for blooms all summer long. Sow in the fall and yours will be the first to bloom in spring. Will self sow. An outstanding border plant."
