Review & Description
This is for 1 of these fragrant arabian sambac jasmine plants in a 1 gallon pot. These plants are known for their fragrance and blooms (they are sometimes used in leis). Hardy in USDA Zones 9- 11. (Can be brought through the winter in Zone 8 if it is well protected and mulched.) These plants can reach a height of 6 to 10 feet and a width of 6 to 10 feet but will only get that size in frost free zones. They die back in the winter to the roots during a freeze so they will not grow that large. In southern zones they bloom almost constantly, but in colder zones when they grow back from a freeze, they won't bloom until summer and into fall. Will grow in full sun to partial shade. They can also be grown in containers and placed indoors to go through the winter. The measurements on the plants will vary a little but some will be about 7 inches tall and 12 inches wide. (These plants are measured from the top of the root ball to the top of the plant!) I do not ship live plants to California, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico due to regulations by their Department of Agriculture!
