Perennial. Used by native Americans to treat snakebites and other maladies, this easy to care for wildflower, native to the North American midwest does well in a variety of conditions. A long-lived perennial, the 1' - 2' plants bloom for 30-60 days. The blossoms are pink, daisy like flowers with drooping petals, and a large, cone-like dark purple/brown center. Excellent for rock gardens and borders; makes a great cut flower.
