Potinara Flaming Orange 'Carmela' (Blc. Debba Doo x Slc. Vallezac)
Potinara, abbreviated Pot in the horticultural trade, is the nothogenus comprising those intergeneric hybrids of orchids which have Brassavola, Cattleya, Laelia and Sophronitis as parent genera. This orchid is a vigorous grower and a prolific FRAGRANT bloomer. It consistently blooms off of each new growth and flowers are at least 3.5- 4.5 inches in diameter. They are easy to grow and will bloom 2-3 times a year. They are a small compact orchid plant and are often referred to as 'Mini Catts' (Mini Cattleya's). These seedling sized plants are in a 2.5 inch pot and have a 3-4 inch leaf span and these mini cats will start blooming in about 18 months
