The wing-like petals of these lavender flowers look like purple butterflies resting atop deeper purple flower heads. The 18 tall plants have soft gray-green, scented foliage, and its exquisite flowers attract bees and butterflies to make your garden alive with fragrance, color, and sound. The strong, compact plants are ideal for herb, rock, and flower gardens, and are they lovely in containers. Often grown as an annual, this variety is perennial in zones 7-10.
